POSITION DESCRIPTION

First Congregational Church (UCC) of Kalamazoo is seeking a Director of Music with strong choral conducting skills and experience, well-practiced rehearsal technique, and knowledge of choral repertoire spanning the classical canon, as well as other genres and traditions. The position requires working with musicians of varying abilities and backgrounds, so warm interpersonal skills are essential. Spiritual practice and openness is encouraged, as is familiarity with liturgy and church culture
