Hayden has been the Sexton here at First Congregational since December of 2017. A Kalamazoo native, he has loved this city for a long time and hopes to keep his roots here for many years to come.
In addition to a love of tinkering, fixing, and building, Hayden has been a musician for 12 years and spent most of that time playing music in church. Those experiences have taught him the value of a strong community in the Church.
Hayden married his wonderful wife, Emily, in the summer of 2018. They live together in Kalamazoo with their four indoor cats, and they care for many neighborhood colony cats.
